Curl to that URL returns valid JSON.

But when I test the assistant, no server messages reach n8n.

This setup used to work when I called the same endpoint via a tool.

After migrating to the new Messaging-based design and removing tools, Vapi stopped calling the URL entirely.

Can you confirm if server messages are emitted for this assistant and whether there is any known regression around tool-less assistants + Messaging Server URL?”
