'Always On' Assistant mode, with long cheap passive listening

Imagine you're driving, or reading a book and then every 10 minutes or so you can say, "Hey, tell me a bit more about this." and chat a bit
ChatGPT Advanced Voice has an amazing use case where you can leave it passively listening in the background and then address it when you have something to say.
It would be amazing to have an Always On mode that supports this in Vapi.
- It would be very capable of understanding when it's just background noise, even background talking, and when it's being addressed.
- And it would need cheap metering when passive
It would open up a lot of Assistant use cases that are not 'calls'.
